Its frilled and curled flower petals are red on the inside that change to dark red and on the outer side of the petals – white and feathered with green. Spectacular! This tulip belongs to Parrot Tulip group, which is known for their stunning ornamental tulips with characteristic frilled and sometimes even fringed flower petals that gives the tulips a baroque touch. Parrot tulips bloom in the middle of the season or slightly later. The tulip Exotic Parrot usually shows its unique flowers in April.

Other information

  • First loosen the soil well where the flower bulbs will be planted. Then the soil is easier to work with.
  • Dig a hole and make sure it is 2 to 3 times as deep as the height of the tulip bulbs.
  • For the distance between the bulbs, make sure it is 2 times the diameter of the bulbs.
  • Plant the flower bulbs in the hole with the pointed side facing up or with the root base facing down.
  • Cover the tulip bulbs with soil and water them well.
