Unique Flower Shows and Events at Keukenhof 2025

In 2025, Keukenhof will not have a single overarching theme, but instead, each flower show will feature its own unique concept. This makes for an even more diverse and exciting experience. The pavilions will host spectacular floral exhibitions, each with its own atmosphere and artistic style. Be inspired by romantic rose and orchid displays, vibrant tulip and hyacinth arrangements, and stunning creations featuring calla lilies, gerberas, and other cut flowers.

Throughout the season, Keukenhof will also host a variety of special events, including the Dutch Heritage Days, Miffy at Keukenhof, and the world-famous Flower Parade.

Flowering Periods: When to Visit?

Keukenhof is stunning throughout its opening period, but nature determines when different flowers bloom:

• March – Early April: Crocuses, early daffodils, and hyacinths provide a soft beginning.
• Mid-April – Early May: Tulips are at their peak, making the park its most vibrant.
• Late April – Mid-May: Late bloomers, such as special tulips and alliums, start to flourish.

For the best experience, mid-April to early May is the ideal time to visit Keukenhof.

Highlight: The Flower Parade

One of the season’s biggest events is the Flower Parade on Saturday, 12 April 2025. This spectacular floral procession travels from Noordwijk to Haarlem, drawing thousands of visitors. The beautifully decorated floats, covered in tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths, create a mesmerising spectacle. This year, we will once again have two pop-up shops in the park, where you can browse and order our flower bulbs, purchase beautiful (wax) amaryllises, and receive expert gardening advice.

Our show gardens at Keukenhof display the bulbs in full bloom, just as they would look in your own garden.
